Mathieu Rozé is a French space passionate and advocate, dedicated to support the advancement of space technologies for creating innovative solutions to the great challenges of the XXIst century, with the improvement of social and environmental issues at the core of its focus. Space for Humanity is for him a unique opportunity to democratize spaceflight and put it at the service of humankind to pave the way for a better future.
In addition to his role as Director of Strategy for S4H, Mathieu currently works in Rome, Italy as a business developer for satellite systems at a leading European multinational space and defense company. He is also Project Manager for the Commercial Space Project Group of the Space Generation Advisory Council and is involved in the European space startup scene.
Mathieu holds a MSc in Energy & Propulsion Engineering from the INSA Normandie (France) with a specialization in aerospace propulsion, and gained hands-on industrial experience through his work with international aerospace firms Zodiac, Safran and Airbus. As a French citizen involved with European and American actors, who moved to Italy after living in India, Mathieu is cultivating a passion for mutlicultural relationships, collaborations and work environments. Away from space, he is also a musician, a swimmer and a lifeguard.
